Camp Dunamis
Camp Dunamis is an outrageously fun Christian camp for middle school youth, located in the San Bernardino Mountains.
Camp Dunamis was birthed in 1988 out of a dream to confront the problem of racism in our society. Our twofold vision is to help youth identify and weed out the seeds of racism in their own lives and to help them develop a personal relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ. Each year approximately 150-200 campers come to camp from all over Southern California, Las Vegas, and Rehoboth & Zuni, New Mexico. The diverse demographics of these communities and churches empower campers to intentionally embrace the vision of racial reconciliation. |
Our Mission
Camp Dunamis unites middle school youth from different ethnicities, teaching them to live, play, and worship together under the Lordship of Christ in order to develop in them a heart for racial reconciliation.

Why Reconciliation?
We believe God created all races, and that He desires for us to live in unity with one another. Camp Dunamis invites youth from all cultures to live, sleep, eat, play, pray, and talk about God together, and in so doing to make friendships with people from other cultures, thus beginning to break racial barriers.
Camp Dunamis is one of the most diverse camps in the nation, both in terms of campers and staff. In everything we do, we strive to teach campers the beauty and value of diversity. |
